Yukiumi deco store review & deco-ing things!

A little while ago I ordered some deco supplies from Yukiumi because my camera & phone are looking a bit sad!  I've ordered through Yuki a few times before, but I didn't have this blog at the time, so I've never reviewed their service.  So now I'm gonna do a quick store review, and then show you guys the deco I've been working on!  ^^

Yukiumi is essentially a deco supply store, but they do sell other things: lenses, nails, pre-made deco'd phone cases, makeup & accessories. I've only ever ordered deco stuff through then, so this is a review of their deco things, nothing else.

Website: 8/1o.

Very nicely laid out and easy to navigate with prices and products all clearly labelled and put into categories.

The only slight problem I had was the products aren't labelled as out of stock on their icons, you have to go into the items description to find out that they're out of stock, which is a tiny bit annoying. There are quite a few slow-loading ads, too, but it's to be expected. Overall it's a nice and helpful website.  (:

Pricing: 8/1o.

I've always been very impressed with Yuki's prices, especially for the bulk pearls & rhinestones. I'm sure it would be possible to find similar things cheaply on taobao, too, but they're so convenient and easy to get all of your deco things in one place!

Range: 9/1o.

They have a very nice range of colours and shapes of pearls & rhinestones. They lose a few points for not having so many 'special pieces', like the food and animal deco pieces - it would be nice if there were a few more, as I know they exist, but the range is still pretty good. The other really nice thing is that they sell EVERYTHING you'll need for decorating things - the glue and pickers as well as the pieces! So useful.  ^^
Everything arrived as shown on the website, and it was all good quality.

Shipping: 1o/1o.

Postage cost me USD5.99 to New Zealand, which is really reasonable. I like ordering deco stuff because it's so light and usually cheap to post.  (:  It arrived in under a week, which is amazing! Super pleased.

Now that the review's out of the way, here's what I've been up to with the new supplies!

(Please go easy on me - I haven't properly deco'd anything in three years, and my dexterity isn't what it used to be, what with arthritis and all...  I know they're not the best, but I had a lot of fun making them, and I think they're cute at least!  ^^; )

I am actually quite happy with how these turned out, considering my rusty skills and lack of supplies (fingers and superglue, haha!  ^^; ).
